“I had a lovely time visiting with CBI folks and getting to know some of them much better. The music and service were relaxing and meaningful. Hope to come again soon” Laurie Tishler Mindlin
“When something good happens, I can hardly wait to share it with my CBI family. This family shares my delight; laughs with me; sincerely wants all of the details and is generous with hugs. When something bad happens, I turn to my CBI family again. This family offers support, cries with me, and is once again generous with hugs.
Praying with the Saturday minyan offers me moments of meditation, peace, learning, community and a tasty Kiddush. The same feelings plus spiritual elevation and inspiration are evoked listening to Bashert. Thank you for being an important part of my family.” Judith Green Chaloff
“I have been a member of CBI (formerly Congregation Tifereth Israel) for over 50 years. Our two daughters attended the Hebrew School, my husband Len was President for 5 years, and I’ve served on various committees.
My 90th birthday was celebrated at CBI and I was recently honored for my volunteerism. So, CBI is very dear to my heart. Both the synagogue and the congregants are like family to me.
I hope to be able to continue enjoying all the holidays and events at CBI for many years to come. ” Ethel Somers
